7 Lessons I’ve Re-learned
Over the course of our lives, there are many things that we go through, good and bad, that teach us lessons we’ll need to move us forward in life. Some even simply to help us not to fall back on things that should be left behind. Of course some of these lessons are plain as day while others may take a bit of time and reflection to see.

The thing about life lessons is that, if you decide to not heed them, they will keep coming back until you learn the lesson. In those situations, it is often seen that the actions required to teach you the lesson may increase as to drill into you the severity and importance of the lesson.
Many of the ones I’ve had re-introduced to me recently are things I’ve learned (perhaps not if they’re being re-introduced) before but time has granted me the chance to re-visit and think deeply on them.
It is true that we are all individuals and thus go about life differently so my lessons, and interpretations of them, may be different than yours. But by sharing them with you, I hope that this will spark you to also take a bit of time to think aboutthe lessons and things you’ve experienced in your life, recently and beyond.
Perhaps this will spark you to take on some of these lessons or just to open your eyes to things that may not have been seen before.
Do the hard things in the present so that things may be easier in the future.
There is never a guarantee, but even an increase of 1% is better than no progress at all and looking back to see that something could have been done about that. I find, more often than not, becoming aware of situations that, if I had not put off the initial task, I could have benefited much more in the present.
Putting things off due to fear, laziness, excuses, and a plethora of other reasons really only hurts yourself in the now.
Time is your most valuable commodity because once it’s gone, you can’t get it back.
Spending hours and days being sucked into the abyss that is the internet, spending time with loved ones, relaxing with a book and glass of wine, can take away so much time when not used properly. These things are not bad in and of themselves, but, just with everything in life, it’s only good in doses.
